Here at The Pest Guru always and foremost try to remove the Bees in Houston alive in most cases.  Transferring the hive and brood into bee boxes to our local beekeeper.  I’m here not to talk negative about any such company’s just a warning to do your research when hiring a company to remove your bee’s in Houston TX.

Few thing to ask when communicating with them:

1 Are they Bee Removal Specialist or just a pest control company?  There is a difference most bee removal specialist stem from beekeeping backgrounds and know bee’s behavior patterns and how to effectively manage them.  Not just a pest control operator who does this on the side and will treat them no different then your household bugs.

2 Check their credentials, do they have a license by the state are they insured and such.

3 What kinda warranty do they offer? Does no good to pay this guy because you thought he was a better deal to find out the bee’s are back and he’s no where to be found!

4 Ask them to explain the process all the way through to the end, if there confident in how they do the job there will be no problem with this.

5 In most cases the bee’s can be saved but, some times they can’t if they are going to exterminate the bee’s what are they using and how does it work?

6 If a hive exist we always recommend a hive removal and should be done if possible.  If not your setting yourself for failure.

Honey does not melt at the same rate as water so guess what it will still be in your home afterwards.  Gravity takes over and the honey will seep down the walls and Sheetrock staining and destroying stuff.  It will attract new bee colonies in the area with the bee pheromones that are left behind.
